I do believe dear god above created you for me to love. He picked you out from all the rest because he knew I would love you best. I once had a heart so warm and true but now it has gone from me to you. So do take care as I have done for now you have two and I have none. I think of you each day and night because you have been my guiding light. If I get to heaven before you do I'll gather the angles to watch over you. Then I'll write your name on the golden stairs so everyone will know just how much I care.

@elwood_student - this is too funny.  I wrote a poem that I titled A Lover's Prayer when I was only in middle school and it is almost identical to the poem that you posted....funny how great minds think alike.
